Winnetka is an elegant filly chestnut filly by Wolkenstein II out of the Elite Hanoverian Mare, Femme Fatale. She is the third foal born in 2001 by EM Femme Fatale through embryo transfer. Winnetka was Reserve Champion Filly, behind her 3/4 sister Willow Rose, at the 2002 Morven Park Sport Horse Breeding Show. Winnetka was bred by Dr. Betsy Smith and Gunnar Lund: (MD).
