Classically Sired Horses

Foal Contest

Rosalind, a beautiful dark bay filly, born 2 March 2000 by Rotspon out of Classically-Sired Wishes Granted (Wolkenstein II/Dividende [Domingo]), is our first Classically-Sired foal of the Millennium!  The filly, described by owner Bettie Carroll as a "work of art" is also our first foal from the amazingly popular new stallion, Rotspon.  Bettie has promised us pictures!  Four mares were vying to present the first Classically-Sired foal of the new millennium.   Wishes Granted, the winner, was bred 1 April, 1999 to Rotspon.  Bolita (Truck Drivin Man/ Bolero/Grande) produced a stunning chestnut Weltmeyer filly, tall with a blaze and 4 matching socks on March 9 for Karen Zacha in Clalifornia.  Closet Dancer xx  foaled a chestnut full brother to Will and Welgraf by Wolkenstein II on March 11.  Winterset (Weltmeyer/ Duella [Don Camillo]) produced a leggy, elegant chestnut Londonderry filly March 16 for Dr. Steve and Bettie Carroll in North Carolina.   The Carrolls, won a dose of semen from the stallion of their choice for Rosalind.  Click on Foals of 2000 for a complete update of our foals.
