Klosterhof Medingen was founded over 45 years ago by Eugene Wahler with the goal of breeding achievement oriented horses. In 1982 Eugene Wahler's son, Burkhard Wahler, began to manage the farm and continued breeding with his father's goals in mind. The breeding facility is currently one of the most successful private breeding facilities in Germany, owning the famous stallions Caprimond, De Niro and Hohenstein. In addition to these famous stallions Klosterhof Medingen has begun to add many young stallions with impeccable bloodlines, such as Danone (De Niro/ StPr Well Done [Weltmeyer]). In the next few years these young stallions will no doubt follow in the footsteps of their fathers!
Classic Sires makes no claims as to the fertility or freedom from disease of any of the stallions. The semen is imported directly from stud farms in Europe with no breeding contract. There is no "live foal" guarantee.
