Stallions of the Hanoverian State Stud

The Hanoverian State Stud (Nieders”chsisches Landgest¸t Celle) is home to more than 200 magnificent stallions.  Each licensed Hanoverian stallion is selected at age two for conformation, presence, movement, and free-jumping ability.  After intensive training at age three, each stallion is performance tested to assess dressage and jumping ability, trainability and disposition.  The top stallions are purchased by the State Stud.  At age eight these State Stallions are evaluated again for their ability to pass on their superior talents and qualities.  The success of this selection process is proven over and over as offspring of the Hanoverian State Stallions dominate competition all over the world.  Through the internationally-recognized frozen semen program established at the State Stud almost 30 years ago, many of these stallions are available to breeders world wide.

Classic Sires makes no claims as to the fertility or freedom from disease of any of the stallions. The semen is imported directly from stud farms in Europe with no breeding contract.
