Fonteyn is a beautiful 1992 mare by Werther out of the Throughbred mare, Starcrest Lady. She is owned by Nicole Chastain and bred by Anne Schmidt and has begun a career as a dressage horse. In 1996 Fonteyn won the Bari von Buedigan Award as the High Scoring Mare during the American Hanoverian Inspection Tour with a '9' for her trot.  Photo by Scarlett.
