Foals of 1999
1999 was a successful year for Classically Sires foals! Western Prinz (Weltmeyer-Femme Fatale [Wertherson]) won his Weanling Colts class at Dressage at Devon, and was Hanoverian Reserve Champion Young Horse for Betsy Smith. Wianna (Wolkenstein II-Dom Perignom [Domingo]) was Champion Filly at Dressage at Raleigh North Carolina. Other foals have had rave reviews at the AHS and Oldenburg Inspections. Cathy Meig's Wolkentanz colt stole the show at his AHS Inspection with his phenomenal movement, presence and handsome appearance. Johanna Doty's Wolkenstein II colt was called the "ultimate breeding success" by AHS Inspector Louis Thompson. Karen Batcheller's two Weltmeyer colts were in the top 10% of all Weltmeyer colts worldwide according to Volker Ehlers.
